Reports To:
Group Head of Design
Purpose:
To assist the Design Team with administration duties, handle briefs, coordinate schedules and distribution of design assets. To act as an intermediary between the Design Team and all other departments to ensure a smooth flow of information.
Essential Functions:
• To assist with collecting and collating design briefs from various business units and coordinate planning and scheduling with the design teams;
• To assist the Brand and design team with daily administration duties;
• To own the Design task management software management and generate reports on team performances;
• To participate in Brainstorming sessions with creative teams as required;
• To attend weekly planning and scoping meetings with design team;
• To assist the overall marketing team with ad hoc tasks as required;
• To assist with content management tasks on the website, internal and retail marketing platforms as required;
• To assist the Social Media team with page management duties when required;
• To assist the marketing team with content to agencies and partners;
• To collect assets from partners and save to content libraries for the Design Team.
Preferred Skills:
• Basic understanding of design principles;
• Entry level design skills;
• Knowledge of task management software will be advantageous;
• Knowledge of content management software such as Strappi and ClickUp will be advantageous;
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Experience with deadline management;
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Highly organized.
Requirements: Experience, Education and Other:
• Grade 12 (matric certificate required);
• Tertiary education (an advantage);
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred;
• Previous experience in a betting company (highly advantageous).
