MARKETING TECHNOLOGY MANAGER [DIGITAL MARKETING (IGAMING)] x 1

Role Overview:
The role will suit a Marketing Technology individual with strong digital marketing expertise and a passion for the iGaming industry. This role bridges the gap between marketing strategy and technology, ensuring our platforms, tools, and campaigns deliver measurable results. You will oversee the integration, optimization, and innovation of marketing technologies to drive acquisition, retention, and engagement across multiple digital channels.

Essential Functions:
– Technology & Platform Management:
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of marketing technology tools (CRM, CMS, analytics, automation, affiliate tracking, etc.);
• Ensure seamless integration between marketing platforms, Igaming providers, and payment systems;
• Maintain data accuracy, compliance, and reporting standards in line with iGaming regulations.

– Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution:
• Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute multi-channel campaigns (SEO, PPC, social media, email, affiliates, programmatic);
• Leverage data analytics to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value;
• Implement personalization and segmentation strategies to enhance player experience.

– Team & Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with product, compliance, and IT teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business goals and regulatory requirements;
• Train and support marketing teams in using technology tools effectively;
• Innovation & Industry Trends;
• Stay ahead of emerging marketing technologies, iGaming trends, and regulatory changes;
• Recommend and test new tools, platforms, and strategies to maintain competitive advantage.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:
– Technical Skills:
• CRM & Marketing Automation (HubSpot, Salesforce, Optimove, etc.);
• Web analytics & tracking (Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Looker Studio);
• Affiliate tracking platforms (Income Access, NetRefer, MyAffiliates);
• SEO & PPC campaign management tools;
• Data visualization & reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI).

– Core Competencies:
• Strategic thinking with a hands-on execution approach;
• Strong project management and organizational skills;
• Excellent communication & presentation abilities;
• Problem-solving and critical thinking under pressure;
• Adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment;
• Proven track record of improving campaign performance through technology optimization;
• Effective cross-department collaboration and stakeholder management.

Nice to Have:
• Experience with gamification mechanics and loyalty programs;
• Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools and predictive analytics;
• Knowledge of blockchain applications in iGaming and payments;
• Multilingual skills for global market engagement;
• Experience in regulated markets beyond iGaming (e.g., fintech, online trading).

Key Success Metrics (KPIs):
• Campaign ROI: Achieve and maintain a minimum agreed percentage return on marketing spend across all digital channels;
• Conversion Rate Optimization: Increase player acquisition conversion rates by an agreed percentage within the first 6 months;
• Retention & Engagement: Improve active player retention by an agreed percentage year-over-year through targeted CRM and personalization strategies;
• Platform Efficiency: Reduce marketing technology downtime and integration issues to less than an agreed percentage annually;
• Data Accuracy & Compliance: Maintain 100% compliance with iGaming regulations and ensure >98% data accuracy in reporting;
• Time-to-Market: Decrease campaign launch timelines by an agreed percentage through process automation and streamlined workflows;
• Innovation Adoption: Successfully implement at least 2 new marketing technologies or features per year that enhance performance;
• Staying ahead of iGaming market trends and adapting strategies quickly.

Requirements: Experience, Education and Other:
• Grade 12 (matric certificate required);
• Tertiary education / Marketing Degree, or related field (an advantage);
• 4+ years of proven experience in a same or a similar role, is preferred.
