Reports To:
General Manager
Purpose:
To monitor, report on and manage all departments and their issues that make up the Accounts,
FICA, Risk and Payments Floor.
Essential Functions:
Self – Management:
• Provide leadership to team-mates through coaching and mentorship;
• Maintain high professional standards within the team by maintaining best practices and habits;
• Maintaining/meeting time frames set out;
• Implement and carry out effective internal QA processes for all pieces of work;
• Management of all projects pertaining to the floor;
• Ensuring the above is conducted in order to achieve the strategic goals of the business in relation to the floor.
Floor Management:
• Oversight and reporting on the following departments, through their HODs:
– Payments;
– Audits;
– Risk;
– FICA;
• Ensuring all SLAs are maintained with a high focus on quality at all times;
• Creating reports on the above for the sake of problem identification with
corresponding resolutions;
• Managing complaints / queries and personally getting involved for major issues;
• Conducting analysis upon each department with a continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred Skills:
• 5 – 7 years’ experience within the Online Gambling Industry;
• Competency across all facets of a bookmaking risk floor;
• Management experience;
• Academic experience involving management;
• Leadership skills;
• High level of knowledge on local sports / horse racing.
Requirements: Experience, Education and Other:
• Grade 12 (matric certificate required);
• Tertiary education (advantageous);
• Risk Management Qualification (preferred);
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred;
• Previous experience in a betting company (an advantage).
